"Never make someone a priority when they only make you an option" (Tan 2007)
haha. i think it is a good piece of advice, but how many a times will we know that you are listed as an option when the person seems to priortise you or make effect that you are on the priortiy list?
mel tan hsiu kim, i suggest you stop posting emo notes like these.. readers here might get affected by: your quote, my interpretation and their emo-ness haunts (when it's all dark n quiet)
haha nonetheless...
live life! let go when it's time to do so! sometimes things just cant be forced k! (Yee 2007)

realize that there are ups and downs in life, you can weather this day beautifully -- and be ready for the easier days that lie ahead

i needa go rush out my MRA project now. my time management is real bad today. 11-12.30 was driving lesson (where Mr Ong got pek chek @ me for not being able to maneuver the steering wheel and do a full u-turn. i'm quite demoralise by today's lesson.). so i got home, stuff myself with bee hoon, carrot cake and worse... banana cake.. ***pompui***

den i spend the whole afternoon trying to tidy up my wardrobe and now there is a heap of clothes on my bed left untouched. yucks!

Being the true rowdy Singaporean in the land of smiles, Thailand.

- Talking at full volume while traveling in a small A320 aircraft. It is not like we were meters apart; we were just an aisle away.
- Shouting out “Zhou Jie Lun” to grab each others’ attention that we are halting for a certain stall at Chatukchak

-Laughing out loud at each others’ suan-ning and jokes while walking along the lanes of Suan Lom Night Bazaar

- We’ve got 2 walking dictionary (Yonggie and Mel) on the Uniquely use of Singaporean ‘language’
-Squeezed and squashed ourselves (4pax, plus 2 big shopping bags each) into a tiny Tuk Tuk to save those precious Bahts
- Refused to ask for assistance, we Jump infront of the airport’s check-in counter for a self timer shot.

Sleepover @ Suk11

Styled as a traditional Thai house, Suk11 is filled with oodles of character. It is a cozy, back-to-home concept backpackers’ guesthouse.

-We walked through a series of plank ways to our Room 200, equipped with an in-room
bathroom, 3 single beds and a queen size bed. Definitely spacious enough for the 4 of us.
- Mel mastered the art of brewing coffee here

-Breakfast is not to be missed. Though simple but it is undeniably a meal that keep our energy level high for that 5days

- Do not attempt to order anything.
- From garlic, spring onion, to fish and lobster, everything here is chargeable
- A kilo of prawns can cost about 3000baht

You will most probably be overwhelmed by the spending power of the Thais in this restaurant. If you were to bring 3 good friends along, thinking that you can feast yourselves to death with incredibly cheap seafood. Please be prepared to be suffocated with high quality sarcasm at this super atas area of Sukhumvit.

By Night

Royal City Avenue (RCA)

- a clubber’s haven
- spacious outdoor seating area for chill and relax
- beautiful people (visit SLIM for DJ Kenny)

Clubs in Singapore gives me the feeling of socializing and being seen. Clubs in Bangkok says that friends are all there to have fun, relax and be merry. Make a trip here to take pleasure in a different clubbing scene.

With Friends

I don’t remember a day without laughter. Thank you for accommodating guys.

The Corrs live Lansdowne Road - Joy Of Life

while i'm away in BKK, my mood will be just as cheerful as this piece here

You guys must see how sick xinzi and I looked this morning. Totally shagged from yesterday’s late night. I was down with a terrible flu. We need to rush out this 6 annotated bibliography each, before we leave, as submission is due on the day whereby we are both in BKK. I have calculated that I take at least 4 hours on one bloody article. The process of searching is killing. I slept at 4am today and woke up at 7am.

Then, during my sleep, I dreamt of...

Some Background first:

Sunday, Kelly gave me this fat cute chuck of an A380 airplane keychain. I love it so much as it came just in time to REPLACED that batman keychain of mine. (I’ve been looking out for a new keychain as I want that batman in my drawer.)

Monday, MRA group decided to based our research question on airlines

Tuesday, this whole day was spent on reading ALL articles about airlines, hoping to find the most relevant ones.

Wednesday, I dreamt that the A380 (as shown in picture above) was performing stunts in the air, flying above a mushroom look-alike hut. Just imagine this chubby aircraft flipping (with slight difficulties) in the air, and it’s only about 5m from me. I felt as though I was in a cartoon.

hahahaha. guess this is what happens when you get an airline-overdose.

Drats. It is an extremely boring day at work. Time is passing TOO slowly. I should be only be awake at this hour, yet I reached Suntec – Games Convention Asia Conference 2007 at 8AM today. Just feel like falling sick tml and skip work. Yucks!

I’m wearing a bright yellow t-shirt that says “ ASK ME ! STAFF ” and I seriously have zero idea about the details of this event. they did not do a detail briefing and everybody is rushing around searching for answers for the guests. i’m at the VIP/SPEAKERS counter, so should anyone pass by pls come say HI to me so that I can spend a few minutes chatting.

Anyway, a coincident that I’m actually working with Alvin See’s sister (Ivy See). His sister is so skinny can.. haha

Tuesday, September 4, 2007

today did cheer me up a little. heard about a happy secret. got a distinction for one of my not-so-confident paper and a credit for the other. i pray for everything to go well as days pass. never am i going to be huant by feelings again.-haha, actually, come to think of it, i was the one who decide to sink into it thinking that i can float at the last round of the game. but well. i learnt.

this school semester seems like a much stressful one because of a particular subject. more classmates. in the past it was only the 7 of us, now it is about 25. school hours:
monday- 2pm to 5pm, 7pm to 10pm
wednesday- 9am to 12pm

i'm looking forward to friday and sunday night to see my darlings.
